“They want a winner so Kevin made the change” said KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS RACING EXPERT, SCOTT DOUGLASS. The longtime racing announcer and expert comments this week on the decision by Kevin Harvick to remove Jack Sprague from the American Commercial Lines #2 NASCAR Craftsman Truck for a lack or performance. Also this week on KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS Presented by Jim Beam®, a look at the big race this weekend at Charlotte in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series. A number of drivers talk about the event. And NASCAR Driver Tony Stewart looks back at the wild finish at Talladega.
Local tracks continue to have action this weekend. A big race coming up is on Sunday, October 26 at Salem Speedway (About 30 minutes form Louisville off Interstate 65). “It is always an exciting race, the Halloween 200” said Richard Deaton, General Manager of the Salem Speedway.

And this week Maggie Roetker with the Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville visits the set of KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS. She talks about a huge event this weekend benefiting the hospital, and weighs in on her favorite NASCAR Sprint Cup driver.

"It is the funniest thing I have seen in some time” said KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS Racing Expert, Scott Douglass. This week on KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS Presented by Jim Beam®, a look back at the wild finish at Kansas between NASCAR drivers Jimmie Johnson and Carl Edwards. And this week, a look at the huge race at the Talladega Superspeedway. “The fans have always been good to me” said Championship Chase driver, Dale Earnhardt. Jr. He is one of several drivers who sound off about the event.

“I think it will be Carl Edwards’ said 84 WHAS Radio Personality, Lachlan McLean. The veteran sportscaster is special guest this week on KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS. Mclean weighs in on the Chase, NASCAR Points System, Dale Earnhardt. Jr., Talladega, and college football.
